12th Razavi national filmfest winners announced

The Razavi National fictional and documentary short film festival has announced its prizes.

Winners were praised with the documentary award going to Mehdi Rakhshani for “Invisible Lines,” while Jamil Amel Sadeqi for “Friday Rug” and Razieh Seraji for “Again Silence”, ranked second and third respectively.

The golden trophy for the special section of “human dignity” went to “path without passage” directed by Mohammadreza Hafezi, and the jury’s special award was given to Mostafa Emami for “Gholam Reza”.

The secretary’s special award was given to “greed” by Mohammad Mojalal, and “salam” by Mohammadreza Haji.

The short film “freezing clock hand” was also praised by receiving “sacrifice and martyrdom” award.

The first edition of Iraq’s “Nahj” prize, affiliated to the Shrine of Imam Hossein (AS) complex, went to “Casco” by Mojtaba Ghasemi, while the second prize was awarded to “age 30” by Mohammad Ali Rakhshani.

The 12th edition of Razavi National fictional and documentary short film festival was held July 29-31, 2017 in the central historic city of Yazd.
